When I moved to a new city, I fell sick one night. It was past midnight, I didn't know the area, and I needed medicine. I remember standing there with my phone, searching for a pharmacy that was still open, calling numbers that nobody answered, and wondering whether the one place I did find would even have what I needed.
I'm Anujeet Shivam, and that night is where InstaMG really began.
The second scene plays out in homes every day. Blood pressure and diabetes medicines aren't ones you can simply skip until tomorrow. But with the shutters down across the city, someone has to get into the car, drive from one chemist to the next, and hope the one that's open has the right medicine, in the right strength.
We can get groceries in ten minutes today. Yet getting the right medicine, at the moment you need it, still means stepping out, searching and hoping. That gap felt wrong to me.
“You shouldn't need to know which pharmacy is open. That should be the network's job, not yours.”
The other half of the problem
There's a second problem, and it's easy to miss. The neighbourhood pharmacist who has known your family for years is being left behind. Big platforms and dark stores are taking their customers, and most local chemists have no practical way to compete online. They have the medicines, the licence and the trust. What they don't have is a way to reach you at 11 pm.
I started InstaMG to fix both problems at once.
For the past six years, I've been building digital products, and I've built and sold more than 48 websites and digital products along the way, including an AI calorie-tracking app. The lesson I keep coming back to is simple: technology wins when it makes life easier for people and gives small businesses a fair chance. InstaMG is built on that belief.
How InstaMG changes that night
Instead of replacing your local pharmacy, we connect you to it. When you place an order, it goes to every licensed partner pharmacy near you at the same time. The first one that has your medicine accepts it, packs it and hands it to a rider. For most orders in our launch area, that means medicines at your door in about 30 minutes.
On that night in a new city, I wouldn't have needed to know the area at all. And your father wouldn't need to get into the car at 11 pm: you could order his tablets from your phone, wherever you are, with his name and number for the rider.
None of this cuts corners on safety. Prescription medicines are always checked by a pharmacist before they're packed. If you don't have a prescription, you can consult a registered doctor by video, call or chat first, and nothing that needs a prescription is given without one. Where your health is concerned, there are no shortcuts.
- Licensed pharmacies only, with the licence number on every order
- Pharmacist-checked prescriptions and approved substitutes only
- Refill reminders before a daily medicine runs out
- More orders from the neighbourhood you already serve
- No expensive setup and no stock syncing
- Delivery handled, so you can focus on dispensing
Starting small, and doing it right
We're beginning in Sector 150, Noida in November 2026, and growing neighbourhood by neighbourhood. A dense network of pharmacies is what keeps delivery fast and reliable, so we'd rather do one area properly than many areas badly. The areas where the most people join the waitlist open next.
Our goal is bigger than delivery. We're building the digital backbone for India's local pharmacies, bringing medicines, prescriptions, doctors and logistics together in one connected network.
Healthcare should feel as easy and dependable as everything else on your phone. That's what we're building at InstaMG.
